Scratching or drawing of dimension lines and drilling points on a workpiece surface is called scribing. Height gauges are made for scribing of helping lines which are in parallel to the surface contact area of the height gauge. Such an article is consisting of a heavy base with a vertical scale on it. Similar to a caliper the Scale is enclosed by a movable unit with an adjustable tipped scriber which is fixed on it. The reading is taken by nonius or a digital display. Our range includes more marking gauges such as steel marking gauges. You can use them for marking predetermined dimensions parallel to an edge. Scribers are also common tools in metal trade which can be used along a ruler, as well as dividers which used for marking of circles or arcs and transfer of dimensions.
